Caramelized, Cheddar Sausage

Carmalized Cheddar SausageThis meal idea is so delicious.  You don’t have to miss out, just because you’re making healthy choices.  A few simple swaps, and you can have those same great tastes that you’ve always enjoyed!

Serves: 1

Serving Size: 1 Sausage


  • 1 Grilled Turkey Sausage
  • 1 bun (we used Udi’s gluten free bun)
  • 1/4 sliced onion
  • 1/2 tsp butter
  • 30 g 4% M.F. Allegro Cheese (visit for a retailer near you)


On stove top over medium high heat, melt butter and saute onions, approx 15 minutes or until browned, stirring occasionally.  Place all ingredients on bun.
